Bonnie is such a mixture that it's hard to tell where her "breed" originated but we think she looks All-American. She's really a small/medium girl weighing about 25 pounds and has tested heart worm negative. Bonnie is very friendly, likes other dogs and humans very much. Bonnie is active and curious, and she'll make a good family pet. She had surgery for FHO (hip replacement) on Sept. 25 and will be going to a foster home for several weeks of recovery. We would like to commend the people of Middlesex County for their donations that made this operation possible and Dr. Murphy of Toano who has operated on many Middle Peninsula pound dogs with leg disorders. Bonnie will be running around on all fours in 6 weeks.
